Karl Lagerfeld Villas is Taraf’s villa community in Wadi Al Safa, a group of houses arranged around a private lagoon with a clubhouse on its edge. The street elevation sets curved white forms above desert planting: a monochromatic palette and textured facades that carry the sleek, minimal ethos of the Karl Lagerfeld fashion collections into architecture. Al Barari Playground is 12 minutes away, Global Village 15.

The plans run from a six-bedroom villa of 11,345 sq ft to a seven-bedroom of 13,003 and a premium seven-bedroom of 18,869. Glazing runs the full height of the ground floor and stands floor to ceiling behind the curved sofas and round rugs. A grand piano sits where the curved staircase rises, the dining room looks through sheer curtains to a marble kitchen, and the bathrooms are marble too, with round mirrors above the basins.
