Marea Residences

Marea Residences reads more like a hotel than an apartment block, which is deliberate. Sharafi Development’s tower sits inside the Dubai Islands masterplan, two minutes from the island’s beach and eight from the Infinity Bridge, with the older city a short drive inland: Naif Souk, Dubai Creek, the Dubai Museum. The G+2+12 form is modest by Dubai standards and the sea does the rest of the work.

The façade is the building’s signature: sculpted, cantilevered balconies stacked in a flowing line, planted along their edges and lit at the rail after dark. Inside, layouts are drawn to pull light deep into the plan, with open kitchens, spa-inspired bathrooms, high ceilings, and slatted timber screens dividing living from dining rather than walls.

Homes run from a 1,324 sq ft one bedroom through several two-bedroom types to penthouses of 3,520 and 3,563 sq ft, many of the larger terraces carrying their own jacuzzi. The podium deck holds curved pools set in landscaped gardens, a jacuzzi facing the tower, and a gym split between weights and a cardio room along the window wall. Handover is set for the third quarter of 2027.
